This has been a year to remember
We had no idea when we started 2020 that United Way of Frederick County's mission would be so critical as the COVID-19 pandemic took hold. As a convener and provider of resources, United Way of Frederick County is uniquely positioned in the community, in partnership with our nonprofit and government partners, to respond immediately, provide assistance, and support our neighbors during times of uncertainty. COVID put us to the test and, thanks to you, we rose to the challenge.
The 2019-2020 Annual Report outlines United Way's work to bring short, medium and longterm outcomes to Frederick County.
Special thank you to local artist Ellen Byrne. The original artwork entitled We Are Frederick was created for the COVID Relief Campaign in honor of those who sacrificed of themselves in service of others during the COVID-19 pandemic.
COVID-19 Response
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, United Way of Frederick County sprang to action in March 2020 to bring immediate relief to families severely affected by the illness and its economic fallout. In addition to the full report, we have pulled out the COVID response pages. More information about grants made through the COVID-19 Emergency Relief Campaign can be found here. Thank you for all of your support!
